Sunday Saunter November – Walking for wellbeing with guided mindfulness

A gentle walk to ease away last week’s burdens and set you up for the week ahead. Not fast, not furious, just a lovely day out walking.

NO WORRIES

Our Sunday Saunter route has been designed so that it’s enjoyable and not too taxing – it is the weekend after all!

Rosie Diver is an experienced, qualified and insured hill walker, with up to date first aid qualifications. You don’t need to plan anything more than what to put in your bag – the rest is taken care of.

LOCATION AND ROUTE

We start at Hadlow Road station, Willaston- which has the added attraction of toilets, a pop-up cafe and free parking – with a briefing at 10 and we will start our walk at around 10:15.

We will walk along country lanes and footpaths of this idyllic part of Cheshire returning to the cars about 3:30pm. We’re not going high, but the ground underfoot may be muddy and slippery, or uneven, so strong shoes/walking boots or walking shoes are advised.

MINDFULNESS

Teaming up with Cath Downes of Find your Calm, this Sunday Saunter, will have the added delight of some mindfulness woven into the walking.

As we walk we will encourage some mindfulness practice, and Cath will guide us through it, setting our intention to let go of the last week and prepare ourselves for the coming week(s) with calm and joy.

WHO CAN COME

Partners and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs will need to be on a lead for part of the walk. No under 18s please.
